MB Maho Kado (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) values and protects your privacy. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) clearly and unambiguously sets out the information collection and use principles applied in the Company’s activities and on the website http://www.mahokado.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”), as well as other information about the Company’s policies and principles for ensuring the protection of personal data.

The terms “you” and “visitor” refer to the entity, person, company, or organization using our Website or providing us with personal data in any other way. The words “we” and “us” refer to MB Maho Kado, a company established under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and its subsidiaries, branches, and representative offices.

We apply this Policy when you visit the Company’s website, when you provide your data directly to the Company, when we receive data related to you from state institutions or other sources, and in order to properly fulfill contractual obligations to which you are a party. This Policy is also intended to inform you about other personal data processing operations carried out by the Company and the main provisions aimed at ensuring your privacy.  

When processing personal data, we comply with the requirements of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, other relevant legislation, and the instructions of supervisory authorities.

This Policy forms an integral part of our company’s Terms of Service, but it does not apply to any third-party websites and applications that you may find through our Website, including those that may be related to our services. The Company may collect your personal data only on the basis of the lawful processing grounds specified in the legislation. These are the legal grounds for the conclusion and performance of a contract when you enter into a service provision or other agreement with the Company, or your contacting the company on relevant issues and visiting the Company’s Website. 10. PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIODS

Personal data collected by the Company is stored in printed documents and the Company’s information systems. The Company stores your personal data for no longer than is required for the purposes of data processing or provided for by legal acts if they establish a longer data retention period.

Personal data is generally stored as long as you have an active account on our website, unless this data is necessary to implement and protect the legitimate interests of the Company. Unnecessary personal data is destroyed.  

If you want to delete your account and terminate data storage, you can do so by sending a request to the Company using the contact details below, but we warn you that in this case, the provision of services to you may be terminated. Please note that even after receiving a request to delete your data, we may retain some of your data when it is necessary for tax, legal compliance, and audit purposes.  

The Company takes all possible measures to ensure that personal data is processed accurately, fairly, and lawfully, that it is processed only for the specified purposes, in strict compliance with the clear and transparent requirements for the processing of personal data established in legal acts.  

12. YOUR RIGHTS

As a visitor to our Website, you have the right to:

  • contact the Company with a request to provide information about your personal data processed by the Company, where and how the personal data was collected, and how the Company processes it. You can apply by submitting a request to access the processed personal data in person, by mail, or by electronic means;
  • contact the Company with a request to correct your personal data and/or suspend the processing of such personal data, except for storage, in the event that after reviewing the personal data you find that the data is incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate;  
  • contact the Company with a request to delete your personal data when, after reviewing your personal data, you find that the personal data is being processed illegally or unfairly, or there are other grounds established in legal acts;
  • object to the processing of your personal data when this data is processed or intended to be processed for the legitimate interest pursued by the Company or a third party to whom the personal data is provided;
  • demand that you not be subject to automated data processing only, including profiling;
  • receive personal data relating to you that you have provided to the Company, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and transmit this data to another data controller, or require the Company to directly transmit such personal data to another data controller when technically feasible (right to data portability);  
  • refuse to provide personal data. In this case, you automatically waive your claim regarding the quality of the services provided by the Company, as the data requested may be necessary to properly provide the services/goods desired/ordered by the Data Subject. In this case, the Company has the right to refuse to provide you with services if the provision of these services is related to the receipt of your personal data.

You can also contact the State Data Protection Inspectorate, but we encourage you to contact the Company, as we always strive to resolve all issues together with the visitor.

When submitting a request, you must confirm your identity in the following ways: 1) if the request is submitted directly upon arrival at the Company – provide an identity document or a copy certified in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania; 2) if the request is submitted by mail or email – provide data identifying you in the Company; 3) if the request is submitted through a representative – provide a copy of the person’s identity document certified in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, attaching a document confirming representation (or a copy of the power of attorney certified in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania).  

Upon receipt of your written request, the Company shall provide the requested data in writing (including by electronic means) or indicate the reasons for refusing to satisfy such a request no later than within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of your request.

If necessary, the 30-day period may be extended by a further two months, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. The Company shall inform the person who submitted the request about such an extension within one month of receiving the request, together with the reasons for the delay.

13. UPDATING THE PRIVACY POLICY

Our Policy may be amended in response to a changed situation or legal requirements. When the Company updates the Policy, the new version will be published on the website http://www.mahokado.com. In the event of significant changes to the Policy, we may contact you by sending an email or informing you in another way.
